Get rid of three unpleasant infections with one medication. Sulfathiazole effectively treats parasitic, fungal, and bacterial infections while remaining safe for fresh and saltwater fish, even up to four times the regular dosage. Always use caution when treating a tank with invertebrates. Sulfathiazole won't harm your biological filter and is safely removed with carbon after treatment. Good for freshwater and marine fish.

Instructions

Directions: Use 2 to 3 measures (each about 100 mg) for every 40 L (10 US gallons). This dose may be increased up to four-fold if symptoms do not subside. Measurer is included. Repeat every 3 days until symptoms disappear. Turn off UV, ozone, and chemical filtration.

Gets the Job Done

I always go for the SeaChem meds when my fish get sick. They're more concentrated, so in the long run its cheaper than the stupid API powder packs, and they use the best active ingredients. Sulfa-based medications are much more effective against bacteria infections than tetracycilne or erythromycin. Their Kanaplex takes care of whatever this med can't, and is so much more effective than that Melafix crap or any of those powder packets other companies make.
